Prince-like proud golden
Still wet after shaking off
Stops to catch his breath
Photo from You can call me Al.
When I look into the face of the other, am I not looking to see some unfulfilled part of myself expressed boldly in the other?
Or a piece of myself that I once had, that now is now lost?
Staring into the face of this pup, I feel stirrings of hope, curiosity, and a memory of having felt truly comfortable in my own skin.
Thank you Your Highness.
And thanks to lynnirene for the great pic from her photostream.
Here is Timber the Boxer.
I suspect dogs and young children do not have long to-do lists.
Is it this freedom from the tyranny of productivity that causes adult human beings to sigh upon seeing them at rest?
Timber is a foster dog. Kyle, his foster dad, tells me he is training him and trying to find a home for him. Visit Boxerbuddies.org to learn more and see a lot more boxers needing homes.
